Rose L. Brand – CEO/President - Attorney

A 1988 Graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law. Upon graduating from law school in May of 1988, she worked for a law firm specializing in Bankruptcy and became a shareholder shortly thereafter. Elizabeth Dranttel – Senior Managing Litigation Attorney

Betsy graduated with honors from Elon College in 1988 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications (Presidential Scholar, member of the National English Honor Society). She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest School of Law in North Carolina in 1991 and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar. Eraina M. Edwards – Attorney

Eraina graduated from the University Of New Mexico School of Law in May 2010. While attending law school, she was Citation’s Editor for the Natural Resources Journal, a writing tutor for first-year law students, and a law clerk at Rose L. Brand & Associates, P.C. Upon completion of law school, Eraina worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael E. Vigil of the New Mexico Court of Appeals before returning to the firm as an associate in September 2011. Eraina was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in September 2010. Since returning to the firm in 2011, Eraina has successfully argued to the New Mexico Supreme Court in the matter of Charter Bank v. Kelley L. Thurston – Managing Legal Operations Attorney

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kelley attended the University Of New Mexico School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor in May 2009. She was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in September 2009, and admitted to practice in the Federal Bar in October 2009. Kelley attended Brigham Young University where she graduated in April 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business Management.

Additionally, Kelley teaches Advanced Legal Writing and Research at Central New Mexico Community College in the Paralegal Studies program. Further, she has experience in family law, children’s law and works closely with the New Mexico Office of Guardianship, where she assists in the appointment of permanent guardians for incapacitated adults.

Leah R. Shover – Attorney

Leah received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2008. She was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in January 2009. Prior to law school, Leah attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where she received her Bachelor of Journalism with a minor in Spanish in 2005.

Karla K. Poe – Senior Attorney

Karla is a native New Mexican. She obtained both her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude, Political Science, 1994) and her Juris Doctorate (cum laude, 1994) from the University of New Mexico. Penelope M. Quintero – Attorney

LynneAnne Maxwell – Senior Litigation Attorney

LynneAnne has 25 years experience as a prosecutor with a primary focus in white-collar and financial crimes. She worked at the 2nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office for approximately 22 years, where she became a Deputy District Attorney supervising both the Meth Prosecution and the Economic Crimes Units. LynneAnne subsequently worked at the Office of the New Mexico Attorney General as the Deputy Director of the Government Accountability Division. In 2014, she was named White Collar-Crimes Prosecutor of the Year. She has extensive trial, negotiation, and motion practice experience.

Andrew Yarrington – Senior Litigation Attorney

Andrew graduated from the University of New Mexico, School of Law in May 2002 and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in September 2002. Prior to attending Law School, Andrew received his Bachelor’s degree in History with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1998.

Andrew has a background in bankruptcy law. Marshall Neel – Attorney

Marshall is a 3rd generation Santa Fean. He received his Bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces majoring in Human and Community Services with a minor in Engineering Management. Verily moved to New Mexico from Denver, CO, in July 2014, she was admitted to the New Mexico bar in May 2014. Eileen Baca-Penner – Attorney

Eileen graduated cum laude and with honors from the University of Albuquerque in 1985 with a B.S. in Criminology and an A.S. in Police Science. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University Of New Mexico School Of Law in 1988, being one of the youngest in her graduating class and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar the same year. She initially worked as a prosecutor in the Children’s Court Division of the First Judicial District Attorney’s office and was soon promoted to supervise the Magistrate Court Division. She also acted as second chair for several felony cases. She then joined the Second Judicial District Attorney’s office in their Special Prosecutions division. Shortly thereafter, she joined the NM Public Defender’s office. There she held an operational role, but was soon promoted to Training Director for the Albuquerque office and then supervised a trial sub-team. After doing litigation work for ten years, she supervised the Pre-indictment Programs division. She and her husband moved to New Orleans, Louisiana after her retirement from state government and stayed for three years. Upon moving back to New Mexico, she joined the Rose L.
